The Canon Extender EF 2.0x III incorporates amazing optical performance to your Canon telephoto lens with minimal chromatic aberration allowing you to capture the shot that you want. Not only does it extend your lenses focal length by a factor 1.4x, the extender features a built-in microcomputer for seamless communication with the camera body, lens and extender to ensure that everything is in sync and lined up for you to take the perfect shot.

Super Spectra Coating

The 2.0x EF Extender III features three groups of seven elements, ensuring improved optical performance. All optical elements use Canon’s Super Spectra coating, reducing ghosting and flare to minimize post-processing requirements. Plus with the new Fluorine Coating on the front and rear elements makes annoying stains or marks, such as spots left by water or fingerprints, much easier to clean than standard coatings.

Precision Control

The microcomputer in the lens facilitates the accurate transfers of imaging data between the lens and camera body. Important functions such as focusing, metering and ID information are made easily available so that the photographer can capture crisp, well-exposed images. To enable an even higher AF accuracy, the extender is best combined with Canon L-series lenses ensuring perfect shots, even when capturing moving objects.
