P338.85
Minimum order amount should be P150.00
Red apple, vanilla, chocolate milk: the flavours of Ballantine’s 1L , a whisky whose recipe dates back to 1910, are delicious.
This centenary Blended Scotch Whisky, the winner of numerous international competitions, is made from a blend of over forty cereals and malts from every corner of Scotland, a perfect mix that only the 5 Master Blender of the history of the distillery know.
With Ballantine’s 1L you can enjoy with your nose, mouth and eyes. Examine the bottle and you will notice that, in addition to the flag of Scotland, it bears the symbols of fire, water, air and earth. What do they mean? Well, they’re all needed to make the whiskey!
Ballantine’s 1L
TASTING NOTES:
- Colour: This beverage has the traditional gold-amber whisky colouring.
- Aroma: Oak spices give this beverage its primary scent. Lighter notes of honey follow and add a feeling of sweetness.
- Taste: This Scotch whisky has a creative mix of flavours, ranging from chocolate to red fruits. Other flavours include honey, vanilla, and oak spices. Even after swallowing, this drink leaves a fresh aftertaste in the mouth and a slight burn in the back of the throat.
PRODUCER: The Ballantine’s brand was first started by George Ballantine in 1827. The recipe and brand name stayed in the family for decades. It was during this time, in 1910, that is current recipe for the blended Scotch whisky was made. It is still used today. The brand eventually changed ownership several times over its long history. As of 2005, the brand was bought by Pernod Ricard.
COUNTRY: Scotland
PRODUCTION DETAILS: To legally be a Scotch, the whisky must be distilled in Scotland. Ballantine’s has several distilleries in Scotland. The process for making this beverage begins with distilling a variety of blended grains. As a blended whisky, several whiskeys are mixed together to create this beverage. Later, the liquid must age for a minimum of three years in oak barrels or casks before it is bottled. At this point, it stops maturing. For this reason, there is no reason for customers to try bottle-aging the beverage further- it just won’t work.
